Architect Santiago Calatrava

- What is the Calatrava’s design philosophy? What are the inspirations Calatrava have and where are they from?

Most of calatrava’s inspiration is art as he considers architecture as an abstract art like painting and sculpting, music and etc. As architecture can be inspired by art, transportation, movement and social science.

- Select 2 of his projects and discuss your opinions in argument with your design philosophy.

These are two of his architecture projects. I tend to not really go for structural architecture as i thought architectures like those are not too innovative as all looks the same especially when it comes to bridges but after researching through Santiago works i believe that even with structures architectures can be innovative and designed based on human lifestyle.
