Signage can be depicted as directions, rules. Singapore can be strict with rules even from a small crime of littering to a big crime of kidnapping and these signs which can be seen everywhere shows how serious Singapore takes its law for. but another meaning i see in this signs are not just the rules but the unity as the signs are written in 4 different languages from 4 different race and religions as this also shows the equality and the importance of these 4 races in this country as these differences is what makes Singapore a multiracial country.

Postcards depicts about message, letters, love, affection, souvenirs and family but another thing which i notice about postcards especially the ones in Singapore is that it should what Singapore really is made up of, that's why people buy postcards as souvenirs too instead of just writing a message in it.

I chose these two images of signage and postcards is because even though these two can be found in other countries as the signage shows directions and rules and the postcards is to write message and can also be bought as a souvenirs as the direct meanings to these items but another meaning which is showing in these selected images is the specialty of Singapore which are the multi races that makes Singapore it is as even in the signage the rules are written in 4 languages to show the different languages we use in this country and the postcards show what Singapore really is thru its drawings and paintings.
